Texa S.p.A. and Faber Team Racing Group together at Alpe Adria: the Vicenza-based team will unveil a new bike, sponsored by Texa.
The Alpe Adria European Championship will officially commence on Sunday 25th April at the Hungaroring (Budapest, Hungary) circuit. The Faber Team, a Vicenza-based team that has been participating in this championship for a number of years now will participate in this edition with four motorcycles. Texa S.p.A., the Company from Treviso specialised in highly technological instruments for car, motorcycle and goods vehicles electronic systems, will sponsor the Team.
The Faber Team has dressed the bodywork of its Kawasaki ZX 10 R, driven by Walter Durigon, with the Texa colours and logo and the Aprilia 250 driven by Olmo Spigariol will bear the logo of the Axone, the flagship product of Texa SpA, which has been developing electronic diagnosis instruments for vehicles, including motorcycles, for years.
For Texa S.p.A. the sponsorship of a sports event represents an important opportunity for comparison and a fundamental experience for checking and increasing the functionality of its products, as well as an enticing chance to widen the visibility of its logo also in sporting environments, as well as in the mechanic workshop world.
The Hungary leg was followed by two appointments on the Grobnik-Rijeka circuit on the 16th May and 26th June where, for the occasion, the Faber Team welcomed to its pit a Texa technician who provided the general public and all those technicians and fans who wished to know more about Axone with information on its features and the services proposed by the Company for the motorcycle world.
ver the years, the Faber Team, which was founded in Vicenza in 1996, has proved its worth as a winner, always occupying the top positions in the Alpe Adria championship, its last achievement being 2nd place in the 2003 Open class. This year the Team, with its Kawasaki ZX 10R, has its sights set on victory also in the Superstock category, which is reserved exclusively for bikes derived from standard production vehicles in which vehicles and riders take to the track on the same technical level and which gives the chance to demonstrate the abilities of the rider and Team technicians, who must always be on hand to adapt the vehicle immediately every time race requirements call for change.
